I love bird watching. It's actually a problem and now I'm going to make it everyone else's problem as well.
You now are obligated to read about the birds I've seen recently. Please enjoy
There's a lake near my house and there's wood ducks that had their babies there, its like genuinely like 3 couples. There's so many babies. I haven't seen them in a while, but the other day I went and walked around and viewed them and the babies are so old. I can't even believe it. It's so cool, they're getting so big! They're almost fully grown and there's genuinely like 12 of them.
I love them so much they make me so emotional. HOWEVER. They go around and they swim around with their MOTHERS. WHO ARE BORING AND DRAB. AND AND AND its not breeding season anymore so even if the fathers were around, which they aren't, they wouldn't be beautiful. It's so messed up.
I love seeing the babies and I love seeing the moms, but like ma'am I want to see your beautiful husband. Not while hes grey and sad, I want to see his pretty green-ness and his colors. Show me your husband bruh.
Its whatever. I'm like chill about it. I don't even care.
I've had an internship this summer so I haven't been able to go out and bird watch for the entire day in so so long. Like I just want to go and see cool birds. I go and I see some birds but there's only so many fish crows, cardinals, and red-wing blackbirds a guy can handle. I love to see some esoteric random bullshit bird. Like at the same lake as the wood ducks I saw a Great Crested Fly Catcher, which is such a bs bird. Like that boy was so goofy.
The other cool ones I've seen lately are 2 different types of Orioles! I saw an Orchard Oriole and a Baltimore Oriole!! That was pretty freaking cool tbh. I just want to go out and see a million birds and sit in the forest and watch! Is that too much for a guy to ask for?! (apparently it is)
